Starting a Graphic Novel

Here's the working cover for the graphic novel I'm about to start. I'm rewriting a more comic-appropriate version of a manuscript I typed up in 2005. It was originally intended to be a children's book, but the story's too long, too dark, and well frankly- not in any publishers interests right now, so I'm moving ahead on my own! Stick with me and you'll see the development of it here on the blog. For those who don't know the story, Eliza (girl in picture) is the daughter of resistance fighters in Paris during the 1940's Nazi Occupation. Her folks get nabbed by soldiers, and she heads into the sewers to find other that will help her save them.
OK, that's it.
