Here's the new painting I've been working on for Strange Fruit, the art/fashion/masquerade show going on here at the Wheeler. It's all watercolor, with a little charcoal pencil over the top.
It's basically a who's-who of random shit: A basket of emotional Easter eggs bouncing out of a cave. The cave has bats, and there's a tree with eyes and a mouth. Nearby is a kids shoe, some candy, and a slug. It may also be happening around sunset/sunrise.
I've titled it: "A Deep, Conceptual Introspection Into the True Meaning of Art, as Manifested by the Human Condition."
