This is Eliza Durand, the main character of The Message. She's 11 years old, and the daughter of Bernard and Sophie Durand who have organized an underground Resistance group in Paris. With a strong passion for adventure and a knack for getting into trouble, Eliza tries very hard to be just like her parents, but finds her age and size a great obstacle in helping with their dangerous cause. She likes cupcakes, cats, and small hiding places.
