My last new piece (maybe) before the show tomorrow night. The idea for this came from a conversation with a friend of mine, Syed. We were discussing my other charcoal piece "routine maintenance" which features a squirrel in electrician gear (hard hat, tool belt, lunch pail) sitting out on a telephone wire. The suggestion was made that the squirrel have a nutcracker in his belt along with his other tools, and this image exploded in my head. I sketched it out, and here it is. I might end up doing a color digital painting of it too, just for fun.
