This piece is from a sketch I did at work this afternoon. It combines a snail, eagle, and tyrannosaurus, hence the name Sneaglosaur. I'm trying to take my digital style in a new direction, and I've struggled with keeping my colors to a minimum. This is the natural outcome so far. It's funny though- applying those techniques can make my work a lot like work by Jeremy Fish's. At least I'm not using the same skull, gun, wings, and heart images that appear in all of his repetitive pick-n-stick tattoo drawings. Although, I am using that decorative border in a lot of stuff... hmmm..... Anyway, the dude's just recently starting to put more variety in his work. Regardless, I love his art, no matter how many times he draws something coming out of a skull.
