Pencil-drawn landscapes for Monkey King. These are rock formation studies for terrain outside the Waterfall Cave. This story is (visually) going in a much darker direction now, which has brought about a realization about my work: All of my self-involved work that I would hang at shows, or use as promotion material is always humerous subject matter. In contrast to that, the novels I'm producing are much darker (well, dark content in The Message is unavoidable), and much more serious. It's strange that I'm naturally applying different moods to short and long-term work. Hmm... better talk to my therapist about this (Mom).
