Sons of Metal series: Amory Abbott, part 1

Here's the sketch I've worked up for myself. I've gone with a more Polynesian motif, me standing in the core of a volcano, metal claw in pose, holding a giant hammer/mace, screaming my metal falsetto cry that's causing two other volcanoes to erupt. The mohawk was the final touch. I've been having SO much fun drawing these. I've always enjoyed drawing funny little things, humorous, over-the-top stuff, but never to the final detail and execution that I'm putting into these. It's been a fun test to see just how professional I can get with the most ridiculous subject matter. I'll be back with progress pics of the paintings soon. Enjoy!
